Senior Deputy Manager Procurement

• Qualification: Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Experience: 8–10+ years of procurement and packaging experience, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG, with team leadership experience.
• Skills Required: Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-analysis skills; knowledge of ISO 22000:2018, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Halal requirements; hands-on experience with SAP and proficiency in MS Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and other needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop sources of supply and alternative resources to ensure cost competitiveness and uninterrupted supply.
• Negotiate with vendors on price, contracts, payments, delivery, and other commercial terms and conditions.
• Oversee packaging specifications, new packaging development, artwork approvals, and active reduction of waste initiatives.
• Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining high quality, low inventory, and short lead time.
• Assess and review supplier performance based on cost, quality, and delivery.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and manage issues and concerns about material quality, pricing, and delivery problems.
