Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, has advertised two job opportunities in its 50 Aviation Squadron/Air Wing based in Islamabad. Applications are invited by the Air Wing for the posts of Squadron Pilot (BS-17/18) and Squadron Maintenance Officer (BS-17/18). For the post of Squadron Pilot, the requirements include 2nd Class Bachelor’s degree, at least 500 hours of flying as a Captain, and Cessna Caravan C-208B qualified candidates who are either civilian or ex-military in nature. In case of Squadron Maintenance Officer, the requirement is 2nd Class Bachelor’s degree along with qualification in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course with 3 years of experience.
Eligibility Criteria
Squadron Pilot (BS-17/18)
- Minimum 500 hours of flying experience as Captain of any aircraft .
- Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and be instrument qualified
- Must be qualified on the Cessna Caravan C-208B aircraft .
- Flying Instructor Qualification and/or Maintenance Test Pilot qualification on C-208B aircraft .
- Quota: Open Merit .
Squadron Maintenance Officer (BS-17/18)
- Must be qualified in the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course .
- Minimum of three (03) years of relevant experience in the field .
- Quota: Open Merit
