The entire global Redmi Note 17 series has been completely leaked online, giving us our first full glimpse of the four variants of the smartphone, which include Redmi Note 17 4G, Redmi Note 17 5G, Redmi Note 17 Pro, and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.
All the information has been gathered by YTECHB and reveals everything about all four of the smartphones, including information on their displays, chipsets, cameras, batteries, and durability grades. There will likely be a global launch very soon, although none of these specs have been confirmed yet by Xiaomi.
Redmi Note 17 (4G and 5G)
The 4G and 5G models of the base Redmi Note 17 phone will likely feature a 6.99 inches AMOLED display with 2396×1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of 1,800 nits, and protection by Gorilla Glass 7i.
The key differences between the two models are in the chipsets used – the 4G model is rumored to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2, whereas the 5G version is expected to utilize Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset.
In terms of memory, the 4G model is expected to be available in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options alongside 128GB and 256GB storage, while the 5G version is reported to come with 6GB and 8GB RAM choices in combination with 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
As for the cameras, both models are rumored to have 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and 16MP selfie camera. The phones will be equipped with 7,700mAh battery and will be able to charge via 45W wired charger.
Among other specifications of both models are IP65 resistance, Android 16 with HyperOS 3 operating system, 169.7 × 79.14 × 8.45mm dimensions, 224g weight, as well as Celestial Purple, Sky Teal, and black color options.

Redmi Note 17 Pro
Next up in the list, the Redmi Note 17 Pro will come equipped with a slightly smaller but way more sharp 6.83 inches AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2772×1280, 120Hz refresh rate, and much higher peak brightness of 3,500 nits, covered with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The color options could be Sky Blue, Satin Orange, purple, and black.
In terms of its hardware, it is anticipated to have the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor powered with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM along with 128GB/256GB/512GB of internal storage. The curious thing is that the storage depends on which version the phone is – the one with 128GB storage will be using UFS 2.2, while 256GB and 512GB use faster UFS 3.1.
The cameras will consist of a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor on the back side with a 16MP front camera. The battery capacity is upgraded to 8,340mAh, coupled with 67W charging.
When it comes to the phone's durability, it has quite a few impressive ratings – IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. Its dimensions are 163.45 x 78.27 x 8.46 mm and weight is 222g.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max
However, the first model of the line is the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. If we believe the information leaked, it has the same screen size and camera layout as the Pro. However, the exactness of that information remains to be confirmed.
One of the main improvements on the Pro Max will be its front camera that will become 32MP. Another important point is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. The options of RAM can be either 8GB or 12GB, whereas the variants of storage memory can be 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
Moreover, the storage speed also changes with different options of the device – the 128GB version has UFS 2.1, whereas the other two have UFS 4.0.
In terms of the battery, the Pro Max is expected to come with the largest battery of the whole line which is 9,210mAh and 100W charging. Its dimensions are 163.44 × 78.27 × 8.6mm and it weights 229.5g.
