The Chinese tech brand Oppo has now released some information on its upcoming phone Oppo A7 Pro Max. It has recently done so following the reveal of the main USP of this phone – an enormous 10,000mAh battery – which was already revealed in the past couple of days.
When Is It Launching?
The Oppo A7 Pro Max phone will be unveiled in China on August 4. If you are planning to grab this one already, you won't even have to wait until the day of the launch to preorder – Oppo has started taking preorders through their official website.
Camera Details Are Now Official
Oppo has also officially announced the appearance of the camera configuration of the device. At the back, the A7 Pro Max is equipped with dual-camera, and the primary lens will be a 50MP sensor. Turn it around to see that the front-facing camera will have the same 50MP sensor for selfies.
Color Options and Design
From the information provided by the manufacturer, there will be three color options that the buyer can choose from; black, light blue, and orange. The black model will have a more conventional finish, but the blue and orange models will have an interesting back design that makes them stand out a bit from the usual plain colors.

Memory and Storage Choices
Oppo is not restricting their customers to just one option. They will have the Oppo A7 Pro Max in three different configurations:
- With 8GB RAM and 128GB storage
- With 12GB RAM and 256GB storage
- With 12GB RAM and 512GB storage
That's a decent spread, giving buyers room to pick based on budget or how much storage they actually need.
What Rumors Are Saying So Far
Although everything cannot be confirmed by Oppo yet, one thing's for sure: Geekbench has managed to list some potential specifications of the phone. From what can be seen in the listing, the Oppo A7 Pro Max might have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, which is definitely a good screen size for regular usage as well as viewing content. Moreover, there is also an indication that this device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.
