Scotland Pakistan Scholarships 2026-27 for Young Women | Fully Funded

The British Council and the Scottish government have declared the "Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls" for the academic year 2026-27, which aim to assist Pakistani women in obtaining higher education in Pakistan. The deadline for applying online is August 31, 2026. The fully funded scholarship includes the cost of tuition fees, accommodation, and provides for travel assistance twice a year. The scholarship is available to Pakistani women to pursue 4-year Bachelor's, 2-year Master's or MPhil studies in selected areas such as STEM, Education, Health Science, Sustainable Energy, Food Security and Agriculture, and Climate Change. This scholarship can be applied for free and online via the British Council website. Applicants will have to prove their admission at a Pakistani University recognized by HEC.

Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship & Gender: Only female Pakistani citizens residing in Pakistan are eligible.

Degree Level: Bachelor's (maximum 4 years), Master's, or MPhil (maximum 2 years).

Eligible Subjects: STEM, Education, Health Sciences, Sustainable Energy, Food Security & Agriculture, and Climate Change.

University Requirement: Must have a confirmed admission offer from an HEC-recognized university in Pakistan.

Eligible Programs: 4-Year Bachelor's, 2-Year Master's, 2-Year MPhil.

Funding Coverage:

• Full tuition fees for awarded semesters.
• Hostel accommodation costs.
• Travel expenses for two trips per year for hostel residents.
• Research support funds for master's students.

• Required Documents:
• Copy of CNIC/Form B of yourself and your parent/guardian.
• Copy of admission/letter of offer from any HEC-approved university (conditional offer will also be considered in case of admission after the deadline).
• Latest salary slips/Income statement of parent/guardian.
• Latest academic certificate/transcript.
• Hostel & Tuition Fee Schedule.
