NADRA Assistant Director Network Engineer Core Networks Jobs 2026 In Lahore

The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) is looking a career opportunity for the post of Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Core Networks) at its Lahore office as advertised in September 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day operations and trouble-shooting of core networks equipment, optimizing networks, and managing the implementation, commissioning, and RMA activities of the network hardware assets. The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree (4 years program) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, or Software Engineering from an HEC recognized University with at least 3 years of experience in network operations.

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Core Networks)

• Education/Qualification: Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university. Degree must be attested by HEC.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations
• Age Limit: Maximum 37 years (5 years general age relaxation already included)
• Location: Lahore

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations and trouble-shooting of the Core network elements
• Responsible for optimizing the network and ensuring its proper operation: bandwidth management and QoS, general health check, SLA’s monitoring, preventive maintenance, and network incident management.
• Network equipment lifecycle management: Implementation, commissioning, and RMA of the network equipment.
• Core infrastructure compliance: Cabling and equipment mounting to specification, redundancy testing, backup and recovery verification.
• Design, implementation, and maintenance of information security controls for the managed network elements: Encryption, firewalls, and other security-related services.
• Maintain and update documentation: SOPs, IP schemes, engineering documents, manuals, and other documentation.
• Inventory management: Maintain inventory databases and vendor SLA’s, coordinate with the audit, HQ, and other teams.
• Performance monitoring and general support: Performance management and 24/7 network support, shift work, and weekend support if required.
