Pakistan Marine Academy Opens Admission For 65th Batch of Nautical (Deck) and Marine Engineering Cadets

Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) has formally declared the admission process for the 65th Batch of cadets in Nautical (Deck) & Marine Engineering for the academic year 2027-28. It is an excellent chance for the young, unmarried, and male Pakistani citizens to join the two years residential training course and make their future in the Merchant Navy. Last date of applying is 13 August 2026, whereas the entry test is to be held on 23 August 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Available Branches

• Nautical (Deck) – 75 Seats
• Marine Engineering – 75 Seats

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Running: 1.6 Kilometers (Maximum 8½ Minutes)
• Push-ups: 15 Repetitions (Maximum 2 Minutes)
• Sit-ups: 15 Repetitions (Maximum 2 Minutes)
• Chin-ups: 2 Repetitions (Maximum 2 Minutes)

Education and Training

• Two years’ residential training program from Pakistan Marine Academy
• Award of Associate Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi
• Completion of Pre-Sea Mandatory Course certificates recognized by IMO

• A Pay Order / Bank Draft in the amount of Rs. 4,000/- should be drawn in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi. It should be payable at NBP Branch Code 0239.
• Application form needs to be filled out and sent through courier service to Officer In-Charge Admissions, Pakistan Marine Academy, Hawksbay Road, Karachi.
