PIFD PhD Admissions 2026 In Lahore – Design & Design Management Programs

Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), Lahore is now offering admission in PhD program for 2026 Session. Admissions are being offered in PhD Programs in Design and Design Management, and last date for application is September 8, 2026. An aptitude test would be held on September 13, 2026 and the test will be held only in Lahore Campus. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2,000 is mandatory for all applicants. Applicants who wish to apply should visit the official website of PIFD for submission of their applications.

Eligibility Criteria

• PhD in Design Management: Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or First Division in MPhil/MSc/MS (18 years of education).
• Degree must be from an HEC-recognized institution.
• At least one year of professional work experience after completing the 18-year degree is required.
• PhD in Design: Minimum 18 years of education in Design or a relevant field.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or First Division.
• Candidates with 16 years of education and a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 may also apply under Intra-Disciplinary Qualification, according to HEC guidelines.
• Entry Test Requirement: Candidates must pass the PIFD Aptitude Test equivalent to GRE/HAT General with at least 60% marks.
• Alternatively, applicants may submit a valid test score from an HEC-accredited testing body.

• PhD in Design Management — Duration: 3–6 Years (Full-Time)

2. Pay the processing fee of Rs. 2,000 through online mode or bank deposit in HBL Account No: 50007910297603, Expo Centre Branch, Johar Town, Lahore. 
3. Fill the application form, attach all necessary documents and submit before the deadline of September 8, 2026
4. Appearing in the Test: Appear in the aptitude test which is scheduled on September 13, 2026 at Lahore campus.
