Dua Before Sleeping in Arabic, Urdu & English Translation

In Islam, Muslims are encouraged to remember Allah before going to sleep. There are several authentic supplications (Duain) that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught Muslims to recite before sleeping.

One of the short and beautiful supplications to recite before sleeping is:

Dua Before Sleeping in Arabic

اَللّٰهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

الٰہی عزوجل میں تیرے نام پر مرتا ہوں اور جیتا ہوں۔

English Translation

O Allah, in Your name I die and in Your name I live.
